Cookie Delites owner and founder, Kim Banda has been baking gifts of cookies dating back 20 years. In addition to her passion for cooking and baking, Kim is a wife and proud mother of two, whom she relies on as official taste-testers. Between raising children, and balancing a career in the automotive industry she still found time to pursue her passion of cooking and baking. When offered the opportunity to host a local cable television cooking show, "What's Cooking", on a part-time basis, she welcomed the opportunity and involved her children in the production whenever possible. Passing on the art of cooking to her children and the viewers was important to her. Just as she had been taught as a young child by her grandmother to appreciate cooking as a labor of love, she wanted to share her knowledge and appreciation for the craft with others.

Since that time, recipes and designs evolved and career changes culminated into the opportunity to open her own cookie shoppe. The time was right and it was either now, or never. The now prevailed and thus, Cookie Delites was officially launched in January, 2008.
